Public spaces in the center of Mladá Boleslav their evaluation, interconnection and revitalization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce v úvodu věnuje vymezení veřejného prostoru a jeho forem a způsobům jeho chápaní a členění. Současně se dotýká i polemiky kolem rozdílů mezi veřejným prostorem a prostranstvím. Následně z důvodu hlubšího porozuměním fungování veřejného prostoru, je řešena tématiky lidí a jejich aktivit ve veřejném prostou a jejich vzájemnému vztahu. Ve  ouvislosti lidí a města, potažmo městských veřejných prostor. Konec literární rešerše věnován principům Živého města. Následně v druhé části práce, jsou získané poznatky aplikovaný k tvorbě analýz, centra města hlavní osy Mladé Boleslavi. Třetí část práce se věnuje návrhu a řešení zjištěných problému z analýz. Cílem práce je oživit dotčená centra města a vzájemně je provázat skrze osu/greenway třídy Václava Klementa.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the definition of public space and its forms and ways of understanding and division in the introduction. It also touches on the controversy surrounding the differences between public space and space at the same time. Subsequently, due to a deeper understanding of the functioning of public space, the themes of people and their activities in the public plain and their mutual relationship are addressed. In the context of people and the city, or urban public spaces. The end of the literary research is devoted to the principles of the Living City. Subsequently, in the second part of the thesis, the acquired knowledge is applied to the creation of analyses, of the city center of the main axis of Mladá Boleslav. The third part of the thesis deals with the design and solution of the identified problems from the analyses. The aim of the work is to revive the affected city centers and to interconnect them through the axis/greenway of Václav Klement Avenue.
