Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Pod kůží“ se věnuje ženství a následnému mateřství s přesahy do umělecké sféry. Tvořena je praktickou částí a doprovodným textem. Část věnující se teorii přibližuje čtenáři aspekty mateřské role a její náročnost. Zároveň představuje několik novodobých umělkyň, které se buď inspirovaly mateřstvím či ženstvím jako takovým případně vlastním prožitkem z této role. Praktická část je tvořena videi a vlastní deníkovou zpovědí doplněnou fotografiemi.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis titled “Under the skin” addresses the matter of femininity and subsequent maternity, extending the topic into the artistic sphere as well. The thesis consists of a practical part and a supporting theoretical section. The part which deals with theory provides the reader with individual aspects of the maternal role and its demanding nature. Moreover, several contemporary female artists are introduced in this section, since they were inspired by either maternity or femininity themselves, or by their own experience of such roles. The practical section is comprised of video recordings and diary confessions accompanied by photographs.
