Abstract:

The topic of this diploma thesis is the generational conflict of the mother-daughter relationship, using the example of the novel "Ausflug mit der Mutter" by the German author Gabriele Wohmann. The aim of this work is to point out the importance of the mother-daughter relationship in German-speaking women's literature and to indicate the way in which this topic is dealt with. This is achieved by analysing the relationship between the protagonists of this work. First of all, determine the causes of this relationship and its consequences. At first will be established important theoretical knowledge for this work. The analysis mentioned above is then carried out in the practical part of this work. The gained knowledge will be summarized at the end of the thesis.

Abstract:

Das Thema dieser Diplomarbeit ist der Generationenkonflikt zwischen Mutter und Tochter am Beispiel des Romans "Ausflug mit der Mutter" der deutschen Schriftstellerin Gabriele Wohmann. Das Ziel dieser Arbeit steht darin, auf die Bedeutung der Mutter-Tochter-Beziehung in der deutschsprachigen Frauenliteratur hinzuweisen und die Art und Weise der Bearbeitung dieser Thematik anzudeuten. Dieses wird mit Hilfe der Analyse der Beziehung zwischen den Protagonistinnen dieses Werks erreicht. Die Ursachen dieser Beziehung und ihre Folgen vor allem ermitteln. Zunächst werden jedoch wichtige theoretische Erkenntnisse für diese Arbeit festgestellt. Die bereits erwähnte Analyse wird dann im praktischen Teil dieser Arbeit durchgeführt. Die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse werden am Ende der Arbeit zusammengefasst.
