Abstract:

Fotografický soubor MEMORY LOSS (ztráta paměti) je tvořen 10 fotografiemi, které zobrazují ztrátu paměti autorky. Prolínající se nití souboru je vyjádření ztráty paměti a křehkosti lidské duše. Soubor je rozdělen do dvou linií. Hlavní linií souboru, jehož motivem jsou fragmenty textilních objektů zasazené v přírodě. Příroda ve které jsou objekty umístěny, představuje klid, jistotu a neustálou regeneraci. Pozadí krajiny není nijak stylizované, je vyjádřením obyčejnosti a každodennosti. Fragmenty, části lidského těla textilních objektů jsou modelovány speciální technikou tak, aby nejlépe vystihly prázdnotu a neúplnost. Touto negací je vyjádřena hlavní myšlenka ztráty. Druhou linií souboru doplňují fotografie nalezeného zátiší. Soubor MEMORY LOSS vytváří konzistentní pocit vidění neviditelného, ztraceného a neuchopitelného. Objekty si vytváří autorka fotografií sama bez použití postprodukčních úprav, fyzicky jsou velmi křehké a většinou se během fotografování zničí.

Abstract:

The photo file MEMORY LOSS consists of 10 photos that depict the author's memory loss. The intertwining thread of the ensemble is the expression of memory loss and the fragility of the human soul. The file is divided into two lines. The main line of the ensemble, the motif of which are fragments of textile objects set in nature. The nature in which the objects are located represents peace, security and constant regeneration. The background of the landscape is not stylized in any way, it is an expression of the ordinary and the everyday. Fragments, parts of the human body of textile objects are modeled using a special technique in order to best capture emptiness and incompleteness. This negation expresses the main idea of loss. The second line of the file is complemented by photographs of found still lifes. MEMORY LOSS creates a consistent sense of seeing the unseen, the lost and the elusive. The objects are created by the author of the photos herself without the use of post-production adjustments, they are physically very fragile and usually get destroyed during the photography.
