Práce chronologicky popisuje dějiny královéhradeckého 18. pěšího pluku od mobilizace v červenci 1914 až do návratu domů v listopadu 1918. Důraz je kladen především na bojovou činnost jednotky přímo na frontě. Text přitom popisuje pouze dějiny hlavního svazku pluku bez detašovaných praporů. Abstract:
The work describes chronologically the history of 18th Hradec Králové´s Infantry Regiment since mobilization in July 1914 up to the homecoming in November 1918. The emphasis is put on the combat activity of the unit directly on the front. The text describes the history of the regiment´s main union without detached battalions.
