Chinese outbound tourism in Europe with focus on the Czech Republic

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the Chinese outbound tourism in Europe with focus on the CZ. The aim is to identify the factors involved in the rapid increase in the Chinese outbound tourism. The first part presents a summary of the basic concept of tourism. The second part is an analysis of the Chinese tourism. The practical part uses OLS to analyse the dependence of the number of Chinese arrivals in the CZ on economic indicators such as the GDPs, CPI and exchange rate. This part also describes real opinions on the factors of increasing Chinese outbound tourism in Europe considering PESTLE aspects derived from interviews with selected travellers and travel companies in Europe and in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, based on analysis, the author attempts to predict the positive and negative consequences and proposes recommendations for improving the business conditions and situation for tourism in the Czech Republic.
