Comparison of Czech and Russian vocabulary of the glass industry (on the example of production of Czech and Russian glassworks)

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce pojednává v první části o historii a počátcích sklářství ve světě, České republice a na území Ruska. Prezentujeme termíny z oblasti sklářství, které byly excerpovány v této první teoretické části. Praktická část se nachází ve druhé polovině této práce. Primárním cílem praktické části je provést tematickou klasifikaci excerpované sklářské terminologie a analyzovat tento materiál z několika hledisek ve srovnání s ruskými termíny sklářského odvětví. Stěžejní součástí práce je vytvořený česko-ruský a rusko-český tematický slovník.

Abstract:

The submitted diploma thesis deals in the first part with history and origins of glassmaking in the world, Czech republic and Russia.We present terms from the field of glassmaking, which were excerpted in this first theoretical part. The practical part is located in the second half of this work.Primary goal of the practical part is to make a thematic classification of excerpted glass terminology and analyze this material from several points of view in comparison with the Russian terms of the glass industry. The fundamental part of the work is the created Czech-Russian and Russian-Czech thematic dictionary.
