Evaluation of spermograms from 2016 from Gyncentrum Ostrava

Abstract:

Cílem práce je vypracování literární rešerše zaměřené na plodnost mužů a vnější a vnitřní faktory ovlivňující plodnost muže, zhodnocení výsledků spermiogramů za rok 2016 v Gyncentru Ostrava IVF Clinic s.r.o. a srovnání výsledků spermiogramů s vědeckými články. Teoretická část obsahuje seznámení s problematikou neplodnosti obecně a podrobněji se zabývá neplodností muže a faktory, které jí způsobují. Mužskou plodnost ovlivňuje řada faktorů: vnější negenetické faktory, věk a genetické faktory. S rostoucím věkem muže klesá objemem spermií, snižuje se motilita spermií a snižuje se procentuální zastoupení normálně morfologických spermií, zatímco vliv věku na koncen-traci spermií je nejednoznačný. V praktické části jsou zhodnoceny výsledky spermiogra-mů. Tyto výsledky pocházejí z Gyncentra Ostrava IVF Clinic s.r.o., obsahují závěry pro-vedených spermiogramů v roce 2016 na této klinice. Ze zhodnocených výsledků spermio-gramů vyplývá: se zvyšujícím se věkem muže klesá koncentrace spermií; procentuální zastoupení normospermie a kryptospermie se s věkem snižuje; naopak zastoupení výsledků oligospermie, astenospermie, teratospermie a aspermie s věkem roste. Z toho vyplývá, že s věkem klesá koncentrace spermií, snižuje se motilita spermií a přibývá teratogeních spermií (snižuje se procentuální zastoupení morfologicky normálních spermií). V závěru práce jsou porovnávány závěry literární rešerše s výsledky praktické části.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to develop a literary research focused on fertility of men and external and internal factors influencing fertility of men, evaluation of spermograms for 2016 at Gyncentrum Ostrava IVF Clinic s.r.o. and comparing the results of spermograms with scientific articles. The theoretical part includes an introduction to the problem of infertility in general and deals in detail with the male infertility and the factors that cause it. Male fertility is affected by a number of factors: external non-genetic factors, age, and genetic factors. With the increasing age of men, the ejaculate volume decreases, the sperm motility decreases, and the percentage of normal morphological sperm decreases, while the effect of age on sperm concentration is ambiguous. In the practical part the results of spermograms are evaluated. These results come from Gyncentrum Ostrava IVF Clinic s.r.o., containing the conclusions of performed spermograms in 2016 at this clinic. The results of the spermograms show that: with the increasing age of men, the sperm concentration decreases; the percentage of normospermia and cryptospermia decreases with age; on the contrary, the representation of the results of oligospermia, astenospermia, teratospermia and aspermia with age is increasing. This suggests that sperm concentration decreases with age, sperm motility decreases and teratogenic sperm increases (the percentage of morphologically normal sperm decreases). At the end of the thesis, the conclusions of the literary research and the results of the practical part are compared.
