Possibilites and benefits of incorporating an independent hotel into hotel chain Hilton.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje možnosti a výhody nezávislého hotelu při začlenění do hotelového řetězce Hilton. Tato práce se pokouší odpovědět na otázky jaké možnosti nezávislý hotel může získat vstupem do hotelového řetězce Hilton a jaké faktory musí nezávislý hotel splnit při vstupu do hotelového řetězce Hilton. Na těchto otázkách je poté postavena analytická část této bakalářské práce. Cílem je pomocí analýzy, deskripce a řízených rozhovorů zjistit výhody a možnosti pro nezávislý hotel, který má zájem o připojení ke značce Hilton a také zda je v České republice místo pro další značku Hilton. Analytická část popisuje výhody, které značka Hilton může nabídnout, jejich hotelové standardy a obsahuje analýzu deseti nezávislých hotelů a deseti hotelů v řetězcích. Analytická část také obsahuje řízené rozhovory, které byly provedeny za účelem zjistit, zda je v České republice místo pro další značku Hilton a pokud je tomu tak, tak pod jakou značku by se mohl zapojit a jak by měl být veden. Návrhová část obsahuje návrhy, jaké hotely by byly nejvíce vhodné pro připojení pod značku Hilton a také ukázku procesu připojení. Závěrem této práce bylo zjištění, že v České republice je místo pro další značku Hilton a také byly zjištěny výhody a možnosti, které tato značka nabízí pro nezávislé hotely. Zároveň rozhovory dokázaly, že nelze přesně určit, jak by měl být hotel veden.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis analyses the possibilities and advantages of an independent hotel when integrated into the Hilton hotel chain. This thesis tries to answer the questions what opportunities an independent hotel can gain by joining the Hilton hotel chain and what factors an independent hotel must meet when joining the Hilton hotel chain. The analytical part of this bachelor thesis is then based on these questions. The aim is to use analysis, description and guided interviews to identify the benefits and opportunities for an independent hotel interested in joining the Hilton brand and whether there is space for another Hilton brand in the Czech Republic. The analytical section describes the benefits the Hilton brand can offer, their hotel standards and includes analysis of ten independent hotels and ten hotels in hotel chains, aslo includes guided interviews that were conducted to determine if there is space in the Czech Republic for another Hilton brand and if so, under which brand it could join and how it should be managed. The proposal section contains suggestions on which hotels would be most suitable to join the Hilton brand and also description of process of connection. The conclusion of this thesis was that there is a place for another Hilton brand in the Czech Republic and the benefits and opportunities that this brand offers for independent hotels were also identified. At the same time, the interviews proved that it is impossible to determine exactly how a hotel should be run.
