Nursing process in children with adenoid tissue

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá ošetřovatelským procesem u dětí s adenoidní vegetací. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je pojednáváno o anatomii a fyziologii ORL oblasti, obecně o adenoidní vegetaci, neboli, Třetí mandli. Dále je práce rozčleněna na úseky jako je etiologie nemoci, příznaky nemoci, prováděná vyšetření před a po adenotomii, diagnostiku a léčbu. Část práce je také věnována indikacím k operaci (adenotomie), předoperačnímu vyšetření, dále také technikám operace. Pojednává se zde i o kontraindikacích a komplikacích tohoto operačního zákroku. Jedna z kapitol práce je zaměřena na péči před a po operaci a také na herní terapii, jelikož tohle téma souvisí s péčí o dětské pacienty. Zahrnula jsem do práce také problematiku bolesti (tlumení bolesti), které je významnou kapitolou pro péči o děti po adenotomii a v neposlední řadě sem také patří hygiena dýchacích cest. V praktické části jsou zpracovány údaje získané z rozhovorů vedených s matkami nemocných dětí. Rozhovory byly vedeny dle modelu M. Gordonové, týkaly se především oblastí, které souvisejí s péčí o dítě s adenoidní vegetací, jako jsou Vnímání zdravotního stavu, Výživa a metabolismus, Vylučování, Aktivita, Cvičení, Spánek a odpočinek, Vnímání a poznávání a také na další aspekty jako je Sebe pojetí, Mezilidské vztahy a Plnění rolí. Ošetřovatelské procesy byly sestaveny podle NANDA domén. (Ošetřovatelské diagnózy, 2010)

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the nursing process in children with adenoid vegetation. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is the analysis of the anatomy and physiology of the head and neck, generally adenoids, or the Third almond. Further work is divided into sections as the etiology of disease, symptoms, examination conducted before and after adenoidectomy, diagnosis and treatment. Part of the work is devoted to the indications for surgery (adenoidectomy), preoperative examination, as well as techniques of surgery. These are discussed here as well as contraindications and complications of the surgery. One of the chapters focuses on care before and after surgery and also the play therapy, since this topic is related to the care of pediatric patients. I have included work with the issue of pain (pain relief), which is an important chapter for the care of children after adenoidectomy and last but not least, here also include respiratory hygiene. In the practical part presents the data obtained from interviews with mothers of sick children. Interviews were conducted according to the model M. Gordon, mainly concerned the areas that are related to care for a child with adenoid vegetation such as perception of health, nutrition and metabolism, excretion, activity, exercise, sleep and rest, perception and cognition, as well as to other aspects such as the Self-concept, interpersonal relationships and the role implementation. Nursing processes were compiled by NANDA domains. (Nursing diagnoses, 2010)
