Types of Sentences of the Criminal Code

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá výkladem trestů a druhům trestů podle trestního zákoníku. V úvodu je popsán výčet základních pojmů, dále je v něm zmíněn i obecně historický vstup do této problematiky. Hlavní část práce je věnována konkrétním platným druhům trestů a současně je zde poukázáno na jednotlivé druhy trestů podle trestního zákoníku č. 40/2009 Sb. Další část práce se zabývá i komparací druhů trestů podle trestního zákoníku s dřívější úpravou. V závěru práce je přiblížena úprava vybraných druhů trestů v zahraničí a nakonec následuje seznámení s provedeným průzkumem veřejného mínění na danou problematiku.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis was prepared to give, if possible, as comprehensive and exhaustive explanation of the types of penalties and punishment under the Criminal Code. The introduction describes the list of basic terms, there is also mentioned as a general historical input into this issue. The main part is devoted to specific types of valid sentences and also pointed out there is different types of punishment under the Penal Code No. 40/2009 Coll. Another part of the thesis deals with comparisons of types of sentences under the Criminal Code with an earlier finish. In conclusion it is zoomed treatment of selected types of sentences abroad and eventual introduction to the survey carried out public opinion on the issue.
