The renewal of the diesel locomotives rolling stock park of the Czech rail transport companies

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou obnovy motorových lokomotiv a některými s tím souvisejícími aspekty. V teoretické části pojednává o změnách na evropských a českých železnicích a o nákladech životního cyklu. Jádrem práce je výpočet nákladů životního cyklu modernizovaného a nového typu lokomotivy, jejich porovnání a analýza. Na základě tohoto výpočtu je pak nastíněn koncept obnovy parku motorových lokomotiv.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis contains with problems of renewal of diesel-engine locomotives and related aspects. In the theoretical part, there are described changes of both the European and the Czech railways and also the costs of life cycle of locomotive. The main part of this thesis consists of a calculation of life cycle costs of a new modernized type of locomotive including analysis and comparison of such costs. Based on this calculation there is outlined the concept of renewal of park of diesel locomotives.
