Development of beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) in mixed forest stands with different thinning regimes at the Křtiny ŠLP

Abstract:

Diplomová práce měla za cíl vyhodnotit a porovnat naměřená data dendrometrických parametrů (tloušťky, výšky, výšky nasazení korun, zastoupení) v různých probírkových režimech smíšených bukových porostů na zájmovém území ŠLP Křtiny. Data byla sbírána již od 60. let 20. století po současnost (poslední měření v roce 2020). Práce se zabývala smíšeným porostem buku, který byl rozdělen do 4 bloků s různými probírkovými režimy a kontrolní plochou. Na blocích probíhaly probírky úrovňová, podúrovňová a Voropanov – Borggrewe, a jeden blok byl založen jako kontrolní bezzásahová plocha. Zjištěná data byla vyhodnocena graficky a slovně komentována. Výzkum ukázal, že nejkvalitnější produkci zapříčinily probírky podúrovňová a Voropanov – Borggrewe, s ohledem na přírodní podmínky zájmového území.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis was to evaluate and compare the measured data of dendrometric parameters (thickness, height, height of deployment of crowns, representation) in various thinning regimes of mixed beech stands in the area of interest of ŠLP Křtiny. Data have been collected since the 60s of the 20th century to the present (last measurements in 2020). The work dealt with mixed beech stands, which were divided into 4 blocks with different thinning regimes and control area. On the blocks, there were level, sub-level and Voropanov – Borggrewe thinnings, and one block was established as a control non-intervention area. The detected data was evaluated graphically and verbally commented. Research has shown that the highest quality production was caused by sub-level and Voropanov–Borggrewe thinnings, taking into account the natural conditions of the area of interest.
