Parametric and nonparametric estimates of ROC curves

Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce jsou ROC křivky a jejich odhady. Práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol, přičemž první kapitola je čistě teoretický úvod do problematiky ROC křivek. Druhá a třetí kapitola jsou zaměřeny na parametrické a neparametrické odhady ROC křivek, obsahují též simulační studie. V posledních dvou kapitolách jsou srovnány všechny použité metody odhadů a následně jsou jednotlivé postupy aplikovány na reálná data.

Abstract:

The topic of this master's thesis are the estimates of ROC curves. The thesis is divided into five chapters, where the first chapter is the theoretical introduction to ROC curves. The second and the third chapters are focused on parametric and nonparametric estimates of ROC curves, including simulation studies. In the last two chapters are the comparion of all the used methods and how they are applied to real data.
