V Japonsku je spotřeba antikoncepčních pilulek neobvykle nízká v porovnání s ostatními vyspělými státy. Tato práce zkoumá, jaké faktory stojí za tímto trendem. Konkrétně se zabývá historií užívání antikoncepce, sexuální výchovou a dalšími socio-kulturní jevy.
