Hana Wichterlová - Sculpture Bud in the interwar avant-garde
Abstract:
Cílem mé práce je zhodnotit sochu Pupen Hany Wichterlové jak po významové a formální stránce, tak i v dobovém kontextu se zaměřením na avantgardní sochařství meziválečné doby. Mojí snahou je poukázat na určující aspekty její tvorby týkající se organických motivů, kdy Pupen byl její první vegetabilní realizací, a postihnout jejich vývoj v sochařčině umělecké tvorbě.
Abstract:
The aim of my study is to evaluate the statue Bud by Hana Wichterlová in both semantic and formal aspects, as well as in the period context, focusing on avant-garde sculpture interwar period. My effort is made to determine aspects of her work on organic motifs, which Bud was her first floral implementation, and affect their development in sculpturess´ artistic production.
