U.S. Foreign Policy Towards Sub-Saharan Africa Under the George W. Bush Administrations
Abstract:
Abstract:
The thesis focuses on American foreign policy towards countries of the Sub-Saharan Africa region during the George W. Bush administrations (2001-2008). The aim of the thesis was to examine whether oil and the War on Terror became the paramount issues of the U.S. Africa policy at the time. And if so, whether it happened at the expense of development policy towards the African continent.
