V rámci diplomové práce byla navržena a implementována webová aplikace Senior Portal. Aplikace využívá možnosti sociálních sítí za využití sociální platformy Elgg, která tvoří jádro celého portálu. Nadstavbové rozšíření přináší funkcionalitu v podobě rezervačního systému a nástroje pro sdílení cestovatelských zkušeností s implementací využití služeb třetích stran. The aim of the thesis is to describe both design and implementation of the web based application called Senior Portal. The application is based on the social network platform Elgg. Two plugins added the functionality of reservation system and a tool for sharing travel experience. The latter one is connected to external services.
