Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce bylo provedení restaurátorského zásahu na Bibli české z roku 1537, uložené v Regionálním muzeu Chrudim, a vypracování restaurátorské dokumentace. Bible, zvaná Severinova, se nacházela v nekompaktním stavu a z důvodu poškození knižního bloku i vazby bylo nutné přikročit ke komplexnímu zákroku. Hlavním úkolem bylo znovu obnovit integritu objektu, jež byla narušena především torzálním stavem knižní vazby. Postup restaurování byl stanoven na základě průzkumu objektu a vyhodnocení odborných analýz. Tato práce představuje výsledky restaurátorského zásahu spolu se všemi kroky, jež tomu předcházely. Je zde zdokumentován stav knihy před restaurováním včetně popisu typologie vazby a kulturně-historického kontextu. Práce obsahuje popis poškození objektu, na něj navazující záměr a dále popis samotného postupu restaurování spolu s použitými materiály a chemikáliemi a podmínkami k dalšímu zacházení s objektem. V dokumentaci jsou uvedeny také faktické výsledky technologických analýz a celý text je podpořen grafickou, obrazovou a fotografickou přílohou.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to carry out restoration treatment on the Czech Bible from 1537, deposited in the Chrudim museum, and to create complete restoration documentation. The so-called Severin's Bible was in a non-compact state and due to damage to the book block and the binding, it was necessary to execute a comprehensive restoration intervention. The main task was to restore the integrity of the object, which was disturbed mainly by the torsional condition of the book binding. The restoration procedure was determined based on a survey of the object and evaluation of expert analyses. This work presents the results of the restoration treatment along with all the interventions that had preceded. The condition of the book before the restoration is documented here, including a description of the typology of the binding and the cultural-historical context. Further, the work includes a description of the damage to the object, the subsequent plan and description of the restoration process itself, along with the materials and chemicals used and the conditions determining further handling with the object. The actual results of technological analyzes are also presented in the documentation, and the entire text is supported by graphic, image and photographic appendices.
