Comparison of reintroduction programs of raptors in individual zoological gardens

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zahrnuje charakteristiku jednotlivých druhů dravců, jejich popis, rozšíření, hnízdění, potravu a chov v zoologických zahradách. Na základě poznatků z odborné literatury, konzultaci s odborníky a shlédnutí několika dokumentů je dále vypracovaný přehled o získání mláďat těchto dravců, technice odchovu a jejich následném vypuštění. Dále práce obsahuje podrobný přehled o odchovaných jedincích v konkrétních zoologických zahradách. Závěrem jsou poznatky shrnuty a doplněny o budoucí plány zoologických zahrad.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis includes characteristics of individual species of predators, their descriptions, nesting, food and breeding in zoos. On the basis of knowledge from the literature, consultations with experts and viewing multiple documents there i salso an overview of the acquisition of the birds of these predators, technique of rearing and the-ir subsequent release. Furthermore, the thesis contains a detailed overview of the reared individuals of the reared individuals in specific zoos. In conclusion, the knowledge is summarized and supplemented with future plans of zoos.
