Analysis of pragmatic language (linguistic) levels at children with mild mental retardation

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem bakalářské práce je pragmatická jazyková rovina u žáků s lehkou mentální retardací. V teoretické části se zabývá klasifikací a etiologií mentální retardace specifiky osobnosti žáků s lehkou mentální retardací, celkovým vývojem řeči, komunikačními kompetencemi u žáků s lehkou mentální retardací a jejich rozvojem a také nejčastějšími obtížemi v komunikačních kompetencích těchto žáků. Předmětem hlavního výzkumného šetření byla analýza pragmatické jazykové roviny u žáků s lehkou mentální retardací. Výzkum byl zaměřen na čtyři vybrané žáky s touto diagnózou v různých modelových situacích. Výzkum poukázal na nejčastější obtíže těchto žáků při komunikačních situacích. Jednalo se především o strach z komunikace, nervozitu a nedostatečnou slovní zásobu pro danou komunikační situaci.

Abstract:

The main topic of the thesis is a pragmatic level language for pupils with mild mental retardation. The theoretical part deals with the classification and etiology of mental retardation specifics of personality of students with mild mental retardation, the overall development of speech communication competencies of pupils with mild mental retardation and their development and also the most common difficulties in communication competencies of pupils. The main subject of the research was to analysis the pragmatic linguistic levels for pupils with mild mental retardation. The research was focused on four selected students with this diagnosis in different scenarios. Research has pointed to the most common problems of these students in communicative situations. These were mainly fear of communication, nervousness and lack of vocabulary for a given communication situation.
