Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je ,,Antonín Dvořák: Mše D dur, op. 86.” V první části práce poukazuji na duchovní život Antonína Dvořáka a jeho stěžejní duchovní díla. Ve druhé části se zabývám formou mše a obecnou charakteristikou s původními latinskými texty a jejich překladem. V hlavní části práce se soustřeďuji na vznik a okolnosti mše, její charakteristiku a rozbor jednotlivých částí. Současně poukazuji na její výjimečnost, ať už po hudební stránce nebo instrumentální. Mimo jiné také uvádím srovnání s jeho symfonickou tvorbou, od které se mše tak liší. V příloze také odkazuji na české nahrávky mše.

Abstract:

The subject of this Bachelor thesis is ,,Antonin Dvorak: Mass in D major, Op. 86." In the first part, I refer to the spiritual life of Antonin Dvorak and his major sacred works. In the second part, I deal with the form of the Mass and the general characteristics with original Latin texts and their translations. The main part focuses on the origin and circumstances of the Mass, its characterization and analysis of the individual parts. At the same time, I point out at its uniqueness, be it musically or instrumental. Among other things, the comparison with his symphonies is included from which the Mass is so different. The annex also refers to Czech recordings of the Mass.
