Self-evaluation of a kindergarten teacher

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá autoevaluací učitelek MŠ. V teoretické části jsem se krátce věnovala vývojem předškolního vzdělávání v ČR a jeho současnou podobou. Dále jsem se zaměřila na roli učitelky MŠ, její proměnu v čase, kvalifikací učitelek MŠ a následně jsem se věnovala charakteristice klíčových kompetencí, kterými by učitelka MŠ měla disponovat. Poté jsem se zabývala vymezením pojmu sebereflexe a jejím vztahem k autoevaluaci. Největší část teoretické části je věnována samotné autoevaluaci učitelky MŠ. Věnuji se v ní vymezení pojmu autoevaluace, jejímu významu v profesi učitelek MŠ, dále pak fázemi autoevaluace a jejími metodami. Poté je část práce, která se zabývá autoevaluačním plánem - jaké je třeba dodržovat zásady při jeho tvorbě, jak správně zvolit cíle, kritéria a indikátor, jaké jsou jednotlivé oblasti autoevaluace učitelky MŠ. Pro praktickou část své bakalářské práce jsem si zvolila kvantitativní průzkum, formou dotazníku. Hlavním cílem je zjistit, jak v praxi probíhá autoevaluace v MŠ. Ten je určen učitelkám MŠ a obsahuje jak otázky uzavřené, polouzavřené i otevřené. Dílčími cíli průzkumné části je zjistit, zda v praxi probíhá autoevaluace učitelek MŠ, zda je vedením MŠ vyžadována, jak probíhá, jak se autoevaluace promítá do praxe učitelek MŠ. Dále pak zjistit, jaký postoj učitelky MŠ k autoevaluaci zaujímají a zda vzdělání učitelek ovlivňuje jejich postoj k autoevaluaci.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the self-evaluation of kindergarten teachers. In the theoretical part, I briefly focused on the development of preschool education in the Czech Republic and its current era. Next, I decided on the role of a kindergarten teacher, its transformation over time, a qualified kindergarten teacher, and then I devoted myself to the characteristics of the key competencies that a kindergarten teacher should possess. Then I dealt with the definition of the concept of self-reflection and its relation to self-evaluation. The largest part of the theoretical part is dedicated to the kindergarten self-evaluation itself. In it, I focus on defining the concept of self-evaluation, its importance in the profession of kindergarten teachers, and then on the phases of self-evaluation and its methods. Then there is a part of the work that deals with the self-evaluation plan - what principles must be followed when creating it, how to correctly choose the goals, criteria and indicator, what are the individual areas of the self-evaluation of a kindergarten teacher. For the practical part of my bachelor's thesis, I chose a quantitative survey in the form of a questionnaire. The main goal is to find out how self-evaluation in kindergarten takes place in practice. It is intended for kindergarten teachers and contains both closed, semi-closed and open questions. The sub-goals of the research part are to find out whether self-evaluation of kindergarten teachers takes place in practice, whether it is required by the management of kindergartens, how it takes place, how self-evaluation is reflected in the practice of kindergarten teachers. Next, find out what kind of kindergarten teacher's attitude to self-evaluation is of interest and whether the education of female teachers has an attitude to self-evaluation.
