Optimization of the process with requests, questionnaires and patient registration in EUC Mamocentrum České Budějovice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá procesy a jejich optimalizací v EUC Mamocentru v Českých Budějovicích. V práci je orientačně popsán aktuální stav IT ve zdravotnictví, konkrétně hrubá architektura možného nemocničního systému, tak i konkrétní příklady NIS, které se v České republice využívají. V práci se nachází také základní popis klinických informačních systémů. Hlavní část se týká konkrétně EUC Mamocentra v Českých Budějovicích. V práci je detailně popsán chod oddělení, jednotlivé pracovní postupy zaměstnanců, a to především pomocí rozhovorů se zaměstnanci. Shrnutí rozhovorů je v práci obsaženo a slouží pro definování problémů v chodu oddělení. Se třemi z definovaných problémů se práce následně zabývá. Jsou detailněji popsány a je pro ně navrženo řešení, které je detailněji rozpracováno v návrh systému, který optimalizuje problémovou oblast. Navrhované řešení je vyhodnoceno opět pomocí rozhovorů se zaměstnanci, kteří v něm hodnotí přínosy pro oddělení. V práci je zahrnuta i možná verze implementace nových systémů, společně se školením uživatelů. Cílem práce je tedy nalezení vhodného řešení pro tři problémové oblasti. Přesněji se jedná o optimalizaci procesu s manipulací se žádankami, dotazníky a online registrací pacientů.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with processes and their optimization in the EUC Mamocentrum in České Budějovice. The thesis illustrates the current state of IT in healthcare, specifically the rough architecture of a potential Hospital System, as well as specific examples of HIS that are used in the Czech Republic. There is also a basic description of clinical information systems. The thesis describes in detail operations of the department and the individual working procedures of employees, obtained through interviews with employees. A summary of these interviews is included in the thesis and provides clear definitions of problems occurring in the department operations. The thesis then provides solution for three of the defined problems, more precisely administrative processes, that do not function as efficiently as possible. Each is elaborated even more closely, and the final solution proposes a system, optimizing each problem area. The proposed solution is back again evaluated by employees through interviews. In these interviews they judge and name benefits of the solution for the department. The thesis also includes a possible version of the implementation of new systems, as well as user training. The aim of this work is to find a suitable solution for three problem areas, more precisely, to optimize the processes of manipulation with applications, questionnaires and online patient registration.
