The Production Process of Czech Internet Content Creation and Distribution - a Pilot Study

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá produkčním procesem vybraných českých internetových tvůrců. Zaměřuje se zejména na vznik a následnou distribuci audiovizuálního obsahu těchto tvůrců. Internetová audiovizuální tvorba je dnes z diváckého i ekonomického pohledu velmi relevantní oblastí a přesto není jejímu fungování věnována přílišná pozornost.Metodou práce je teoretický úvod do problematiky, popsání termínů, se kterými se poté dále v práci operuje, a v neposlední řadě hloubkové rozhovory s vybranými autory. V nich se pokouším najít společné body, které popisují produkční proces vzniku a distribuce jejich audiovizuálního obsahu. Kromě stručné charakteristiky jednotlivých respondentů se snažím o popsání hlavních tendencí v audiovizuální internetové tvorbě. Cílem práce je popsat základní termíny a tendence tvorby těchto autorů. Práce je koncipována jako pilotní studie ke zmapování dané oblasti pro rozsáhlejší výzkum v diplomové práci a jejím cílem není popsat celou realitu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the production process of selected Czech Internet creators. It focuses mainly on the creation and subsequent distribution of audiovisual content of these creators. Internet audiovisual production is nowadays a very relevant area from the audience and economic point of view, and yet not much attention is paid to its functioning.The method of the thesis is a theoretical introduction to the issue, a description of the terms used in the thesis and, last but not least, in-depth interviews with selected authors. In them I try to find common points that describe the production process of the creation and distribution of their audiovisual content. In addition to a brief characterization of the individual interviewees, I try to describe the main tendencies in audiovisual Internet production. The aim of this thesis is to describe the basic terms and tendencies of these authors' work. The thesis is conceived as a pilot study to map the field for more extensive research in the master thesis and does not aim to describe the whole reality.
