Podkrkonošská obec Paseky nad Jizerou byla nejsevernější výspou česky hovořícího obyvatelstva na pravém břehu Jizery. Paseky nad Jizerou, a small village in the mountain region of Krkonoše has historically been the northernmost outpost of Czech speaking population on the right bank of the Jizera river. This thesis aims to cover the development of the village and its population from a holistic perspective, beginning from earliest settlements of the area to 1918.
