Educational process of women with birth injury

Abstract:

Cíl: Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo vytvoření a následná realizace edukačního programu pro ženy s porodním poraněním, který by měl vézt ke zlepšení jejich nedostatečných vědomostí, zručností a postojů. Edukace se konkrétně týkala správné péče o porodní poranění. Edukační proces byl sestaven z pěti fází, kterými jsou: posouzení a sběr údajů, diagnostika, plánování, realizace a vyhodnocení. Dílčím cílem bakalářské práce bylo vytvořit přehlednou edukační brožuru o péči o porodní poranění v šestinedělí. Brožura byla předána ženám při edukaci. Metodika: Edukovány byly tři klientky na oddělení šestinedělí. Na posouzení deficitu vědomostí byl využit vstupní znalostní dotazník a rozhovor. Sekundárním zdrojem informací byla jejich zdravotnická dokumentace. Edukace byla vyhodnocena na konci šestinedělí prostřednictvím výstupního dotazníku. Výsledky: Na základě vyhodnocení vstupního znalostního dotazníku a rozhovoru s ženami, byl odhalen deficit ve znalostech žen o péči o porodní poranění. Na základě této skutečnosti byly stanoveny u každé ženy ošetřovatelské diagnózy a sestaven edukační program. Závěr: Z provedeného vyhodnocení edukace bylo zjištěno, že edukace žen v šestinedělí o péči o porodní poranění je velice podstatná k nabytí znalostí o správné péči o porodní poranění. Porodní asistentka je kompetentní osoba, která může edukovat jednak zdravé ženy, tak i gynekologicky nemocné pacientky. V rámci jejího působení ve zdravotnictví by měla být kvalitní edukace nedílnou součástí její ošetřovatelské péče o ženy.

Abstract:

Aim: The main goal of the bachelor thesis was to create an educational program for women with birth injuries. The presented educational process should lead to the improvement of insufficient knowledge, skills, and attitudes to this kind of injury. Education specifically aimed to improve the care of birth injuries. The educational process was composed of five phases: Assessment and data collection, diagnostics, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The partial goal of the bachelor's thesis was to create an educational brochure with information about the precise care of birth injuries in the puerperium. The brochure was given to women who were included in the educational process. Methodology: Three hospitalized clients were educated in the hospital postnatal ward. These clients used an acquired knowledge gained from the brochure and an interview. As a secondary source of information were included the medical records of the clients. The education process was evaluated at the end of the puerperium of the questionnaire. Results: A deficit in women's knowledge of injury care was revealed based on the evaluation of the initial knowledge questionnaire and interviews with women. Nursing diagnoses were determined, an educational program was compiled for each woman. Conclusion: From the proven evaluation, it was determined that the education of women in the puerperium was essential to improve the care of this kind of injury. A midwife is a competent person who can educate healthy women and gynecologically ill patients as well. The result of the work is a lesson that quality education should be an important part of nursing care for women.
