The aim of this study was to prove the influence of castration on mRNA expression level of genes CYP2E1, CYP1A2, CYP2A19, HSD3B, HSDB17B7, SULT1A1, SULT2A1, KRT8 and ATP5B and its relationship with boar taint compounds androstenone, skatole and indole and Improvac-specific antibodies in Czech commercial hybrid (Large White x Landrase (sow) x Duroc (boar)).
