Application for Online Testing of Students in Primary and Secondary Schools

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem a implementací webové aplikace pro online testování žáků na základních a středních školách s využitím moderních přístupů a technologií k vývoji. Webová aplikace se skládá z rozhraní určeného pro vyučující a z rozhraní určeného pro žáky. Vyučujícím aplikace umožňuje vytvářet nové testy, upravovat stávající testy, zobrazovat odevzdané testy a vyhodnocovat je. Žáci mohou testy spustit, vyplnit, odevzdat a po vyhodnocení vyučujícím zobrazit svůj výsledek. Na začátku práce je popsána problematika vzdělávání v didaktickém systému a problematika moderního přístupu k vývoji webových aplikací. Dále byla provedena analýza požadavků na aplikaci a zhodnocení dostupných řešení. Na základě získaných informací byla navržena a následně implementována webová aplikace, ověřena funkcionalita a zhodnoceny dosažené výsledky. V závěru práce jsou diskutovány možnosti dalšího pokračování.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with design and implementation of web application for online testing of students in primary and secondary schools using modern approaches and technologies for development. The web application consists of an interface for teachers and an interface for students. The application allows teachers to create new tests, modify existing tests, display submitted tests and evaluate them. Students can run tests, complete them, submit them and display their results after the evaluation by the teacher. At the beginning of the thesis, the issue of education in the didactic system and the issue of a modern approach to the development of web applications are described. Furthermore, an analysis of application requirements and evaluation of available solutions were performed. Based on the obtained information, the web application was designed and subsequently implemented, the functionality was verified and the achieved results were assessed. In conclusion, the possibilities of further continuation are discussed.
