Internet – a place for artistic expression
Abstract:
This thesis deals with Internet Art and Art on the Net, their history and definitions. It also describes examples for both. These examples serve as a basis for evaluation of possibilities enabled by Internet Art and Art on the Net in comparison to non-internet art. It examines their qualities in general and takes into account both possitive and negative elements.
Abstract:
Táto práca sa zaoberá internetovým umením a umením na Internete, ich históriou, a definíciami. Venuje sa taktiež ich príkladom, na základe ktorých porovnáva nimi ponúkané možnosti s umením neinternetovým. Všeobecne porovnáva ich kvality, hodnotí ich kladné a záporné stránky.
