Content analysis of gender presentation in magazines for preschool children
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na obsahy časopisů pro děti předškolního věku v souvislosti s genderovou problematikou. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní koncepty spojené s genderem a médii. Empirická část práce je zaměřena na kvantitativní obsahovou analýzu ilustrací v časopisech pro děti předškolního věku s cílem odhalit případný výskyt genderových stereotypů.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis is focused on the content of magazines for children of preschool age in terms of gender issues. In the theoretical part are defined basic concepts associated with gender and the media. The empirical section is focused on quantitative content analysis of illustrations in magazines for children of preschool age to identify possible occurrence of gender stereotypes.
