The villain Mr. Hollywood. Wrestler as the dominant element of Andy Kaufman's star image in the years 1979-1984.
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce analyticky zkoumá jednu formu hvězdného obrazu Andyho Kaufmana – Wrestlera. Zjištění této analýzy pak využívá adekvátní interpretaci nezávislého film My Breakfast with Blassie. Ve vztahu ke zvolené metodě zkoumá možnosti star studies analýzy na příkladu této extrémní kariéry.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis analyses one form of star image of Andy Kaufman – Wrestler. Findings of this analysis are then used to interpret an independent film My Breakfast with Blassie in adequate way. So it also tests abbilities of star studies analysis on this extreme career example.
