Ageing population in the V4 countries and its economic impacts

Abstract:

Předložená práce je zaměřená na stárnutí populace v zemích V4 a ekonomické dopady. Nejprve jsou definovány důležité pojmy související s tímto tématem, následuje charakteristika Visegrádské skupiny a vymezení ekonomické struktury jednotlivých zemí. Dále jsou v práci analyzovány důchodové systémy skupiny Visegrádské čtyřky, kde důležitá část je věnována odvodům do důchodového systému a podmínkám pro možnost čerpání penze. V práci je provedena projekce výdajů na důchodové zabezpečení v zemích Visegrádské skupiny a představeny vybrané ekonomické dopady.

Abstract:

This master's thesis is focused on the aging population in V4 countries and the economic impact this population has there. The first part of this paper will define important concepts related to this topic. I will then characterize the Visegrad countries and define the economic structure of each individual country. This thesis will analyze the pension systems of the Visegrad Groups as well as the conditions that allow the possibility of drawing pensions. The projections of pension expenditure in the group of Visegrad countries are explored and economic impacts are discussed.
