Inovace IS ve vybraném segmentu - Utilitní tržní segment

Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá problematikou inovací IS se zaměřením na vybraný segment utilitních podniků. Východiskem je pojetí utilitního segmentu jako specifického trţního segmentu podniků v oblasti výroby, přenosu, prodeje a distribuce energetických i jiných síťových sluţeb. Cíle práce jsou v rovině teoretické i praktické. Teoretická část nabízí originální pojetí teorie inovací IS pro segment utilit a vztah inovací k architektuře IS. V praktické části autor identifikuje aktuální výzvy a příleţitosti na trhu a nabízí scénáře dalšího vývoje. V úvodu mapuje práce existující obecné teorie inovací s ohledem na vybrané téma práce a na základě identifikace specifických podmínek utilitního segmentu odvozuje specifickou teorii pro tento segment. Další oddíl se zabývá problematikou architektur IS a moţnostmi zachytit a řídit pomocí modelů architektury IS proměny IS v procesu inovace. V další části jsou navrţeny konkrétní modely architektur odpovídající aktuálním inovacím na utilitním trhu. V závěru se práce zaměřuje na praktická doporučení pro postupy inovací v utilitách a odvozuje příleţitosti a vize dalšího rozvoje segmentu. Příleţitosti jsou identifikovány v inovovaném pojetí informatiky, které vnímá podnikovou informatiku jako portfolio informatických sluţeb podporující rozvoj primárních zákaznických sluţeb, dodatečných sluţeb s přidanou hodnotou a sluţeb na míru pro různé skupiny zákazníků.

Abstract:

This thesis addresses the innovation of information systems in enterprises, particularly in the utility market segment. The thesis starts with a definition of utilities, a market segment containing companies involved in generation, transmission, distribution and retail of energy services as well as other companies providing related networked services. The aims of this thesis are both theoretical and practical. The theoretical part offers a new theory for IS innovations for the selected segment and for the relation between the innovation and the architectures of IS. In the practical part, the author identifies current challenges and opportunities in the selected market segment and offers scenarios and visions for future development. The first part of the thesis maps out the general innovation theories in the context of the selected topic. The second part introduces a new innovation theory based on an analysis of the specific conditions in the utility market segment. The next section focuses on the topic of IS architecture and its ability for tracking and managing the changes of the IS during the innovation process. The following part relays designs for specific architecture models supporting the current innovation trends in the utility market. The final part of the thesis summarizes particular business recommendations for innovation procedures in utilities, identifies innovation opportunities, and inspires visions for the future development of the market. The opportunities are related to a new way of understanding the role of IS in utility companies. IS provides a portfolio of information services to support the customer oriented business services, advanced services with added value and tailor made services for specific customer groups.

Abstract:

Diese Dissertationsarbeit betrachtet die IS-Innovation und fokussiert auf den Utility-Marktsegment. Zum Ausgangspunkt wurde die Definition des Begriffes "Utilities". Es wird als ein Marktsegment der in Herstellung, Lieferung, Versorgung und Verkauf der Energiedienste und in den anderen verwandten Netzdienstleistungen beschäftigten Unternehmen verstanden. Die Dissertation setzt sich theoretische als auch praktische Ziele. Der theoretische Teil bietet eine originale Theorie für die Innovation des IS und für den Zusammenhang zwischen der Innovation und der Architektur des IS in dem gewählten Segment an. In dem praktischen Teil definiert der Autor die aktuellen Herausforderungen und Gelegenheiten auf dem Markt und schlägt Varianten für die weitere Entwicklung vor. In dem ersten Teil werden die allgemeinen Innovationstheorien im Zusammenhang mit dem Thema der Arbeit betrachtet. Eine spezielle Innovationstheorie für das Utility-Marktsegment wird anhand der spezifischen Bedingungen in dem gewählten Bereich abgeleitet. Nächster Teil fokussiert an die Problematik der IS-Architektur und deren Fähigkeit die Strukturveränderungen während des Innovationsprozesses nachvollziehen und zu steuern. Weiter werden konkrete Modele dargestellt, die den aktuellen Innovationen auf dem Utility-Markt entsprechen. In dem letzten Teil der Dissertation werden praktische Vorschläge für Innovationsvorgänge zusammengefasst und Marktgelegenheiten und Zukunftsvisionen werden geschildert. Neue Anlässe werden in der neuen Ansicht an die Rolle der Informatik in den Unternehmen identifiziert. Informatik wird als ein Portfolio der Informatikdienste verstanden. Informatikdienste sorgen für die Unterstützung der Kundendienste, der fortgeschrittenen werterweiternden Dienste und der kundenspezifischen Dienste für die gewählten Kundengruppen.
