The Evaluation of Selected Items of the Balance Sheet - the Accounting and Tax Perspective

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o zásobách z účetního a daňového pohledu. Práce je rozdělena na čtyři části, ve kterých je znázorněn teoretický a praktický pohled na zásoby. První část je zaměřena na vymezení pojmů z oblasti účetnictví a daňových zákonů. Tato část se zabývá také porovnáním Českých účetních standardů a Mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví. Ve druhé části jsou zkoumány zásoby z účetního pohledu. Tato část popisuje členění zásob, způsoby účtování o zásobách a jejich oceňování. Další část znázorňuje zásoby z daňového hlediska se zaměřením na slevy na zásoby, škody na zásobách, obaly a likvidaci zásob. Čtvrtá část nahlíží na charakteristiku vybrané společnosti a na účetní a daňové případy řešené v dané společnosti. Závěrem je zhodnocena stávající situace podniku a zmíněny návrhy možných zlepšení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with inventories from an accounting and tax perspective. The thesis is divided into four parts that display theoretical and practical perspective on inventories. The first part focuses on the description of basic concepts of accounting and tax law. This part compares the Czech Accounting Standards and the International Financial Reporting Standards. In the second part, inventories are examined from the accounting perspective. This part describes division of inventories, accounting methods used by recording of inventories and their measurement. Another section describes inventories from the tax perspective with concentration on discounts and damages of inventories, packaging and liquidation of the inventories. The fourth part analyses the selected company and the accounting operations in the company. In conclusion, the current situation of the company is analysed and some corrective measures are suggested.
