Counter-terrorism policy of the European Union

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá velmi aktuálním problémem, který je v současnosti jedním z hlavních globálních problému světa, a to je terorismus. Z tohoto důvodu byla v této práci vytvořena analýza strategických prvku, které jsou účinné v boji proti terorismu. Část práce se věnuje definici terorismu z historického hlediska. Dnes se každý region na světě snaží prosadit tento boj kvůli svému ekonomickému potenciálu proti terorismu. Po celém světě bojuje mnoho organizací proti terorismu. Zabývám se zejména těmi, které se přímo dotýkají Evropské unie. Další část práce popisuje a definuje současnou strategii boje proti terorismu v EU a České republice. Česká legislativa vychází ze základních předpisů a norem, které následuje každý členský stát Unie. Zároveň většina zemí Evropské unie v praxi proti tomuto problému bojují fungující instituce na národní a nadnárodní úrovni, protože stát nemůže bojovat proti terorismu pouze na jejich národní úrovni. Hlavním výsledkem této analýzy bylo popsat a definovat různé formy ochrany obyvatelstva, které zajišťují mír a bezpečnost v celé EU.

Abstract:

The work deals with a very current problem, which is currently one of the main global problems in the world, and that is terrorism. For this reason, an analysis of strategic elements that are effective in the fight against terrorism was created in this work. Part of the work deals with the definition of terrorism from a historical point of view. Today, every region in the world is trying to push through this fight because of its economic potential against terrorism. Many organizations around the world are fighting terrorism. I deal mainly with those that directly affect the European Union. The next part of the work describes and defines the current strategy to combat terrorism in the EU and the Czech Republic. Czech legislation is based on the basic regulations and standards that each member state of the Union follows. At the same time, in practice, most European Union countries are fighting against this problem at functioning institutions at national and supranational level, because the state cannot fight terrorism only at their national level. The main result of this analysis was to describe and define the various forms of protection of the population that ensure peace and security throughout the EU.
