A survey of selected memory institutions focused on collection of audio documents: an analysis for the project of National Virtual Records Library
Abstract:
Tato práce se zaměřuje na zvukové dokumenty všech typů, jejich charakteristiku, formáty, historii a výrobu. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována zejména gramofonovým deskám. Praktická část obsahuje průzkum provedený mezi vybranými knihovnami a muzei, který zjišťuje výskyt a stav zvukových dokumentů v těchto institucích pro připravovaný projekt Národní virtuální fonotéka.
Abstract:
This work focuses on audio documents of all types, their characteristics, formats, history and production. Particular attention is paid to the gramophone records. The practical part contains a survey conducted among selected libraries and museums, which detects the presence and status of audio documents in these institutions for the upcoming project of the National Virtual Records Library.
