Foreign investments in Kazakhstan

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje zahraničním investicím v Kazachstánu. Cílem je rozhodnout se, zda Kazachstán vytvořil příjemné investiční prostředí pro zahraniční podniky. Práce se rozděluje do čtyř částí. První část se zabývá charakteristikou Kazachstánu z hlediska geografického, historie, demografie a průmyslu. Druhá část se věnuje PEST analýze, která obsahuje charakteristiku politického, ekonomického, sociálního a technologického prostředí. Další část pojednává o vývoji a zaměření zahraničních investic v Kazachstánu. Poslední, čtvrtá část, se zaměřuje na Strategii – 2050 a její analýzu z hlediska toho, jak by mohla ovlivnit investiční prostředí. Práce zahrnuje také SWOT analýzu investičního prostředí.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on foreign investments in Kazakhstan. The aim is to determine if the Republic of Kazahkstan has created a favourable environment for foreign investments. The paper is divided into four parts. The first part characterizes Kazakhstan in terms of geography, history, demography and industry. The second part uses PEST analysis, which include characterization of political, economical, social and technological environment. The next part focuses on the flow and directions of foreign investments in Kazakhstan. The last part deals with the “Strategy – 2050” and its analysis on how the investment climate could be affected. The paper includes a SWOT analysis of investment environment as well.
