The expressions adverbial in contemporary french press

Abstract:

In our thesis Les locutions adverbiales dans la presse française contemporaine we treated the frequency of usage of the adverbial expressions. Our research is based on two important french newspapers, Le Monde and Le Figaro, and on the corpus linguistic parallel InterCorp. In the theoretic part of our thesis, we tried to describe the adverbs and the adverbial expressions. In the practical part we introduced the sources of our datas, we tried to present the biggest difficulties we faced during the research and finaly we showed its results. We were comparing the expressions adverbial in different combinations and from different points of view; we always added the statistical analysis and graphical representation.

Abstract:

Tato práce nazvaná Les locutions adverbiales dans la presse française contemporaine se zabývá výzkumem četnosti výskytu příslovečných spojení v soudobém francouzském tisku. Výzkum byl prováděn ve dvou významných francouzských novinách, Le Monde a Le Figaro, a v jazykovém paralelním korpusu InterCorp. V teoretické části jsme se pokusili stručně charakterizovat příslovce a příslovečná spojení. V části praktické jsme představili zdroje našich dat, dále jsme zmínili největší problémy, na které jsme během výzkumu narazili, a v závěru jsme se věnovali vyhodnocení a prezentaci samotných výsledků. Příslovečná spojení jsme porovnávali v různých kombinacích a z různých úhlů pohledu; vždy jsme provedli statistickou analýzu a grafické znázornění.
