Abstract:

Pro svoji bakalářskou práci jsem si vybral téma Trendy v oblasti talent managementu (řízení talentů) v roce 2020 a dále, to co se v současnosti používá a jaké trendy bude mít v budoucnu. Dnešní změny jsou charakteristické rychlou globalizací a vývojem nových technologií. Kultura pracovní síly podporuje týmovou spolupráci a personalizaci. V první části práce popisuji teorii talent managementu jako takovou a jak se v budoucnu změní řízení talentů. Hlavními aspekty těchto změn jsou globalizace, digitální revoluce a nadcházející Průmysl 4.0. Druhou částí mé práce je praktický výzkum, který jsem provedl v české pobočce společnosti Microsoft - jedné z největších světových společností. Zjistil jsem, jaké metody, strategie a politiky společnosti v tomto odvětví a velikosti ,používají v oblasti talent managementu v praxi dnes, když se poprvé na pracovišti setkávají na jednom místě 4 nebo dokonce 5 generací pracovníků. Pro výzkum jsem použil dvě metody - jednou z nich byl dotazník připravený pro personální oddělení společnosti, druhou byly osobní rozhovory s různými lidmi různých rolí v personálním oddělení. Klíčovým zjištěním mého výzkumu bylo, že pro úplné prozkoumání potenciálu dnešních pracovníků potřebují společnosti nejen moderní technologie, ale také silnou digitální kulturu. Musí si vytvořit prostředí, ve kterém si vedení plně uvědomuje důležitost technologie pro úspěšné podnikání a zajistit, aby zaměstnanci mohli nové technologie správně používat. Boj o talenty je nikdy nekončící prací a nyní je ten pravý čas podívat se, jak silná je digitální kultura ve společnosti a jak se digitální kultura odráží ve vnímání společnosti jako atraktivního zaměstnavatele. Výzkum ukazuje, že proces řízení talentů má mnoho různých složek a řízení těchto procesů je pro každé oddělení lidských zdrojů nejtěžší výzvou. Pokud však existuje jasná strategie řízení talentů a je-li správně implementována, mohla by pro organizaci představovat velkou hodnotu a představovat silnou konkurenční výhodu. Redesign procesu řízení talentů pro současné i budoucí pracovní síly je klíčovou výzvou pro úspěšnou budoucnost společnosti.

Abstract:

For my bachelor’s thesis, I have chosen the topic Talent Management trends in 2020 and beyond, as it is currently applied and what trends it will have in the future. Nowadays changes are characteristic by rapid globalization and new technologies development. The culture of the workforce encourages teamwork collaboration and personalization. In the first part of my work I describe the theory of talent management as such and how talent management will be changed in the future. The main aspects involving these changes are globalization, the digital revolution and upcoming Industry 4.0. The second part of my work is the practical research which I did in the Czech branch of Microsoft – one of the biggest worldwide global companies. I was founding out which methods, strategies and policies of talent management companies of this sector and size use in practice nowadays when for the first time in history in the workplace, 4 or even 5 generations meet at one place. I used two methods for my research – one of them was a questionnaire prepared for HR department of the company, the second one was personal interviews with different people of different roles in HR department. The key finding of my research was that in order to fully explore the potential of today's workers, companies need not only modern technologies but also a strong digital culture. They have to build an environment in which management is fully aware of the importance of technology for a successful business and ensure that employees can use new technologies properly. The fight for talents is a never-ending job and now is the right time to look how strong is the digital culture in the company as well as how digital culture is reflected in the perception of a company as an attractive employer. The research shows that the talent management process has many different components and management of these processes is the hardest challenge for any HR department. However, when there is a clear talent management strategy and is properly executed it could provide great value to the organization and represent a strong competitive advantage. Redesign talent management process for todays and beyond workforce is key challenge for a successful company future.
