Burnout syndrome and its prevention among social workers.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je koncipována jako výzkumná práce, chce zprostředkovat náhled na problematiku syndromu vyhoření a jeho prevenci u sociálních pracovníků. V úvodu teoretické části je definován syndrom vyhoření, jeho rizikové faktory, projevy, příznaky a fáze. Dále je popisován syndrom vyhoření u sociálních pracovníků, kde je vymezena profese sociálního pracovníka. Jsou představeny diagnostické metody syndromu vyhoření. Následující kapitola je věnována prevenci vyhoření, jak ze strany zaměstnavatele, tak ze strany sociálního pracovníka. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se zabývá orgánem sociálně právní ochrany dětí. Výzkumná část práce je zpracována kvantitativní výzkumnou strategii. Výzkumnou metodou je dotazníkové šetření. Cílem je zjistit míru výskytu syndromu vyhoření a jaké kroky činí zaměstnavatelé v rámci jeho prevence, pohledem sociálních pracovníků oddělení sociálně právní ochrany dětí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is conceptually made as a research work, which provides insight into the matters of burnout syndrome and its prevention among social workers. In the introduction of the theoretical part, we can find the description of the burnout syndrome and its risk factors, speeches, symptoms, and phases. After that there is a focus on the burnout syndrome among the social workers and the definition of what the social workers profession consists of. The chapter ends with the diagnostic methods of the burnout syndrome. Prevention of the burnout is described from the employer view and also from the employee side - the social worker. The last part of the theoretical part focuses on the department of the social and legal protection of children. The research part of the thesis is processed by a quantitative research strategy, exactly by a questionnaire survey. The aim of this survey is to find the level of incidence of the burnout syndrome and what steps employers do as a prevention according to the social workers from the department of the social and legal protection of children.
