NHKG in the history of Bartovice, Vratimov and Kunčice (1941-1960)

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem výstavby Nové huti Klementa Gottwalda na své okolí - jmenovitě na obce Kunčice, Bartovice a Vratimov. Zaměřuje se na život v daných obcích a na to, jak a čím byl ovlivňován. Jako jeden z nejvýraznějších atributů jsou popsány vyvlastňovací procesy ve jmenovaných obcích. Dále práce popisuje např. také kulturní život a dopravu v obcích či další problémy spojené s výstavbou NHKG, se kterými se obce musely potýkat

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis describes the influence of the NHKG construction on its surroundings - namely the municipalities of Kuncice, Bartovice and Vratimov. It focuses on the daily life in said municipalities and how it was influenced. As the most impactful effect of the construction was the expulsion of these municipalities residents, we will dedicate a significant portion of this paper to discussing this. The thesis further describes the cultural life, transportation, and other problems the citizens had to cope with while the NHKG was being built.
