Cílem předkládané diplomové práce je analyzovat vliv produkce ropy na konkrétní zemi – Ázerbajdžán. Základní formát výzkumu je dán teoretickou částí práce, kde hlavní důraz bude veden na přiblížení pojmů jako je holandská nemoc, reálná apreciace směnného kursu, volatilita a institucionální dopad „prokletí“ nerostných zdrojů. The aim of this thesis is to analyse an impact of oil production on the economoy of Azerbaijan. The basic framework for research is set in the theoretical part where the main interest lies in such phenomena as the dutch disease, real appreciation of the exchange rate, volatility or an impact of the resource “curse“ on institutions.
