Implementation of Inclusive Education at Elementary School

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce „Implementace inkluzivního vzdělávání na základní škole“ se zabývá pohledem pedagogických pracovníků základní školy na změny způsobené zaváděním inkluzivního vzdělávání, vyplívající z legislativních ustanovení. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na vymezení práva na vzdělání pro všechny z pohledu mezinárodních a českých dokumentů, na specifika vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami v České republice a na vymezení jednotlivých aktérů inkluzivního vzdělávání. Empirická část obsahuje metodologii a následnou analýzu a interpretaci dat získaných kvalitativním výzkumným šetřením, které proběhlo na základní škole. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jak pedagogičtí pracovníci školy vnímají implementaci inkluzivního vzdělávání a změny s ní spojené.

Abstract:

The master´s diploma thesis “Implementation of inclusive education at an elementary school” deals with the view which the teaching staff has on the changes caused by the implementation of inclusive education introduced by the new legislative provisions. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the universal right to education as viewed in international and Czech legislative and other documents on inclusive education issued by state, the specifics of education of pupils with special educational needs in Czech Republic and the demarcation of individual participants of inclusive education. The empirical part then contains the methodology, analysis and interpretation of the data collected by qualitative research which was conducted at an elementary school. The aim of this thesis is to determine, how the teaching staff of the school perceives the implementation of inclusive education and the changes connected to it.
