Diplomová práca sa zaoberá životnou spokojnosťou seniorov využívajúcich vybrané sociálne služby v meste Ostrava. Teoretická časť je rozdelená na tri kapitoly. Prvá kapitola sa týka oblastí staroby, starnutia, zmien v tomto období, možností starostlivosti o seniorov.
