Mineralogical evolution of granitic pegmatite near Chřášťany.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou mineralogického vývoje tělesa granitického pegmatitu z okolí Dolních Chřášťan. Hlavním cílem práce bylo charakterizovat studované těleso z mineralogického hlediska a zároveň popsat vývoj chemického složení minerálů v rámci krystalu a případně i v rámci pegmatitového tělesa.Teoretická část práce shrnuje obecné poznatky o granitických pegmatitech. Zaměřuje se na jejich klasifikaci z pohledu tlakových a teplotních podmínek vůči mateřské hornině i z pohledu jejich geochemického složení a typických stopových prvků. Praktická část zahrnuje makroskopický a mikroskopický popis studovaného pegmatitového tělesa a jeho minerálů. Pozornost je zaměřena především na živce, slídy, columbit, kasiterit, turmalín, beryl, granát a zirkon. Chemické složení jednotlivých minerálů je zkoumáno pomocí elektronové mikrosondy. Na základě studia pegmatitového tělesa bylo zjištěno zastoupení živců albitem a mikroklinem, zastoupení slíd muskovitem a cinnvalditem. Columbit z blokové jednotky je detekován jako ferrocolumbit a columbit z albitové zóny jako manganocolumbit. Studie prokazuje granát s převažující spessartinovou složkou a studie turmalínu skoryl. Jedná se o pegmatitové těleso s nízkým stupněm frakcionace, které je zařazeno do skupiny vzácných prvků, konkrétně do beryl-columbitového subtypu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of mineralogical evolution of the granitic pegmatite body near Dolní Chrášťany. The main aim of the thesis was to characterize the studied pegmatite from the mineralogical point of view and at the same time to describe the evolution of the chemical composition of minerals within the crystal and eventually within the pegmatite body. The theoretical part summarizes the general findings about granitic pegmatites. It focuses on their classification from the view of pressure and temperature conditions relative to the base rock as well as their geochemical composition and typical trace elements. The experimental part includes a macroscopic and microscopic description of the studied pegmatite body and its minerals. Attention is mainly focused on feldspar, mica, columbite, cassiterite, tourmaline, beryl, garnet and zircon. The chemical composition of individual minerals is studied by an electron microprobe. On the basis of pegmatite body studies, feldspars are represented by albite and microcline, mica is represented by muscovite and zinnwaldit. Columbite from the block unit is detected as ferrocolumbite and columbite from the albite zone as manganocolumbite. The study confirmed the presence of garnet with the predominance of spessartine and it also confirmed tourmaline as schorl. Pegmatite body exhibits a low degree of fractionation and it is classified to the group of rare elements, specifically the beryl-columbite subtype.
