The aim of this thesis is a translation of a non-literary text of social sciences from Spanish to Czech, and text analysis. The thesis is divided in four chapters. Cílem této diplomové práce je odborný překlad ze španělštiny do češtiny z oblasti společenských věd a analýza textů. Práce je rozdělená do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola obsahuje překlad španělského textu do češtiny. Druhá kapitola je věnovaná analýze výchozího textu, třetí kapitola je zaměřená na analýzu překladu, překladatelské postupy a problémy.
