Perception of a nurse from patients view

Abstract:

V této práci jsme se zabývali problematikou vnímání vzhledu sestry pacienty a dopadu tohoto vnímání na kvalitu ošetřovatelské péče (respektive vnímání kvality). Teoretická část se zabývá základními teoretickými poznatky z oboru ošetřovatelství, jako je koncepce ošetřovatelství a role sestry v ošetřovatelství. Dále shrnuje teoretické poznatky o osobnosti sestry a jejím image, problematiku multikulturního ošetřovatelství a genderu, případně problematiku vztahu veřejnosti k této profesi. V praktické části jsme popsali výzkum provedený dotazníkovým šetřením, jehož výsledky zobrazují vliv fyzického zevnějšku sestry na kvalitu ošetřovatelské péče pohledem pacientů oproti vlivu charakterových vlastností sestry.

Abstract:

In this thesis, we dealt with the issue od perception of the appearance of the nurse by patients and the effect of this perception on the quality of nursing care (respectively the perception of quality). The theoretical part deals with basic theoretical knowledge in the field of nursing, such as concept of nursing and the role of the nurse in nursing. It also summarizes theoretical knowledge about the personality of the nurse and her image, the issue of multicultural nursing and gender, or the issue of the public's relationship to this profession. In the practical part, we described the research conducted by a questionare survey, the results which show the influence of the nurses physical appearance on the quality of nursing care from the perspective of patients compared to the influence of the nurses character traits.
