¨Kryptogein je 10 kDa elicitor, produkovaný oomycetou Phythopthora cryptogea, který je rozpoznáván specifickým vazným místem na membráně buněk tabáku (Nicotiana tabacum) a spouští obrannou reakci, která zahrnuje produkci aktivních forem kyslíku, změny pH či produkci mikrobicidních látek (fytoalexinů) a expresi PR proteinů. Cryptogein is 10kDa elicitor, produced by oomycete Phythophtora cryptogea is recognized by specific high afinity binding site on tobacoo plasma membrane and trigger plenty of defence reactions including production of active oxygen species, pH changes or production of antimicrobial substances (phytoalexins) and PR proteins expression.
