Abstract:

Výstavba jesuitské koleje ve Znojmě a přestavba kostela sv. Michala od založení koleje ve Znojmě v roce 1624 do počátku 18. století. Tato práce se zabývá jezuitskou stavební činností ve Znojmě a soustřeďuje se především na stavbu dvou nejdůležitějších staveb znojemských jezuitů, na stavbu jezuitské koleje ve Znojmě a kostela sv. Michala, který se nachází nedaleko od koleje. Znojemští jezuité začali stavět svoji kolej v třicátých letech 17. století a dá se říci, že do konce 17. století byla stavba již dokončena. Kostel sv. Michala je starobylý kostel o němž první archivní zmínky pocházejí již ze druhé poloviny 13. století a který byl za jezuitského působení ve Znojmě mezi léty 1643 – 1677 přestavován . Znojemští jezuité jako jedni z mála využili části budov, které získali fundací, rekonstruovali je a užívali až do odchodu z města, kdy je předali vojsku, které z nich zřídilo kasárna a vojenský špitál. Tato skutečnost činí znojemskou jezuitskou stavební činnost výjimečnou. Znojemští jezuité byli jedni z těch, pro které byl jezuitský pojem „ noster modus“ skutečným jejich způsobem, protože veškerá znojemská jezuitská stavební činnost byla procesem, na němž se sami jezuité podíleli největší měrou.

Abstract:

Construction of the Jesuit College in Znojmo and Rebuilding of St. Michael’s Church from the foundation of the college in 1624 to the early 18th century. This thesis deals with Jesuit building activities in Znojmo and focuses primarily on the construction of two major buildings of Jesuits in Znojmo, the construction of the Jesuit college in Znojmo, and St. Michael’s church which is located near the college. Jesuits in Znojmo began to build their college in the thirties of the 17th century and it can be concluded that till the end of the 17th century the building was already completed. St. Michael’s church is an ancient church, which is first referred to in archives in the second half of the 13th century and which was rebuilt during Jesuit activities in Znojmo between 1643-1677. Jesuits in Znojmo as ones of the few utilized the parts of the buildings, which they acquired by the foundation, they reconstructed the buildings and used them until they left the town, when the buildings were handed over to the military, who set up an military barracks and a hospital therein. This fact makes the building activities of Jesuits in Znojmo exceptional. Jesuits in Znojmo were one of those for who the Jesuit concept of "modus noster" was indeed their own method, as all building activities of Jesuits in Znojmo formed a process in which the Jesuits themselves were mostly involved.
